What is include in my home inspection with Quality Home Inspections of East Tennessee?

Crawlspace/Basement Inspection Roane County, TN Quality Home Inspections

Quality Home Inspections will go through the basement or crawl space looking at the foundational walls, basement or crawlspace ceiling, the visible plumbing, and insulation. Pests are beyond the scope of the home inspection; however, if any evidence of an infestation is observed, it will be noted in the home inspection report with a recommendation for a pest control specialist to further evaluate, usually along with photos of the suspected area.

Evidence of water intrusion or moisture problems, along with cracks, or other defects that are observed will be noted in the report along with photos, when possible. Occasionally, photos don't always come out as we hope due to lighting, angles, and, or lack of flash from the camera. Issues with insulation that are observed will also be noted on the report, along with any other observed defects.

Many times, crawlspace and basement water issues are due to grading problems around the wall outside or issues with guttering and downspouts.

You never know what you may find in a crawlspace.
